Just over a week to go until the Found series presents one of the hottest underground dance music festivals in London. This one’s Ceremony Festival, taking place Finsbury Park London on Saturday the 12th of July, the 4th out of 5 in the found series that has been running throughout summer. Here is why it’s not to be missed.
Over 50 artists performing across 6 stages & this is the breakdown. Headlining the main stage will be American house & tech duo the Martinez brothers. There not the only super talented DJ’s that will be banging out the house & tech on the main stage, house legend Arman Van Helden will be performing a classic 90’s set, that’s not something I would miss out on if I where you. I won’t mention everyone but other than Hot creations label owner Lee Foss two acts I am personally excited about are House duo Eli & Fur who you may know from there collab with Shadow child ‘Seeing Is Believing’. And then there’s Magnetic mans very own Artwork who I’m sure would put on a show to remember.
On to the smaller stages now but when I say smaller I only mean slightly, stage number 2 is hosted by Toronto’s very own house legend DJ Sneak. He brings his I’m a house gangster stage to Finsbury park & he’s bringing along friends Toddy Terry, Harry Romera & Doc Martin. If your house & Techno crazy then you’ll be delighted to know the third stage is headlined by Sante & Sydney Charles two very talented house & tech DJ’s straight from Germany. The stage is called ‘Avatore’ & also features last years winner of DJ mags best breakthrough producer, ‘Josh Butler’.
If I’m completely honest the stage I’m looking forward to most at this years Ceremony festival Is the Tropical stage. Why am I looking forward to it the most? Well JME will be headlining this one with none other than Skepta. I watched Skepta perform at Lovebox this year and I know that he can put on a show. Other acts I’m exited about are Birmingham Brothers Preditah & C4, Plastician, DJ Logan Same & one of the hottest grime collectives in the scent right now the square. If I’m completely honest this is where I see myself spending most of my time at Ceremony festival 2015.
If you’re a straight Hip Hop lover like me , a stage you will be interested in Is the So fresh so clean stage headlined by DJ Marky & Harry Love, also to feature is the one & only DJ MK (no not the one that does look right through’ Last but not least we have the Heritage where I’m sure you will find plenty of house & Garage. This final stage features Todd Edwards, Mike Skinner, Mat Jam Lamont & the legend that is Grant Nelson. If this isn’t enough to make you want to buy a ticket then I don’t know what is.
So if you are interested in getting a ticket or need a bit more information, please click the link to the Ceremony website below & you will be able to find everything you need. When purchasing tickets you may want to even consider going VIP where there is an exclusive 7th stage hosted by Artwork which will be filled with surprises.
