Basildon, Billericay & Wickford Volunteer Network – Virtual Volunteer Fair – August 2020

Basildon, Billericay and Wickford Volunteer Network is hosting its first Virtual Volunteering Fair in August which will provide members of the public with the opportunity to find out about volunteering opportunities available in the Borough.

The event will go live at 9am on 10th August on the Volunteer Network’s YouTube channel: (https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCBQ2e2u-xHzlFRQd2ME_u3g/)

Attendees will be able to watch a series of promotional videos made by volunteer recruiting organisations, from the comfort of their own homes.

This is the first public event arranged by the Volunteer Network since their recent rebrand.

Volunteering became very high profile during the pandemic with hundreds of people in the Borough offering their time. The Volunteer Network would like to encourage the community to continue engaging in volunteering to further help the community and to enable third sector groups and organisations to continue running their vital services.
