As football continues to be played in empty stadiums and greater restrictions are placed on mixing indoors with friends, millions of fans up and down the country are left longing for their match day rituals and faced with the prospect of cheering their team on at home alone.

Despite being only five games in, this season has already been one of the most dramatic, with unexpected results, talks of break away leagues and of course the ever contentious issue of VAR.

For many club supporters the match day experience they miss the most is human interaction and this weekend a new technology will be launched by BT Sport that aims to provide fans with a revolutionary new way to interact with one another and get up close again to the sport they love.

Aston spoke to Jake Humphrey, TV presenter to discuss how the technology will work and how he sees the next few months of the season panning out.
