Second World War veteran Captain Sir Tom Moore, who inspired the nation during lockdown by raising millions for the NHS, has died aged 100.
He went into hospital on Sunday after being treated for pneumonia and testing positive for coronavirus last week.
He was knighted by the Queen during a private ceremony at Windsor Castle in July.
