Car showrooms across the country have had to cease trading as the government deemed them ‘non-essential’ back in March.

Since then, there has been a major shift toward online retailing and new research has suggested that even after the pandemic, the traditional trip to a car showroom could be a thing of the past. It found that only 15% of Brits believed a dealership is the best place to get a good deal and a further 18% said they are put off by the prices in show rooms.

However, cost is not the only factor causing Brits to explore other buying platforms.
