Basildon, UK – Basildon Pride is thrilled to announce the return of the highly anticipated Basildon Pride Festival, taking place on Saturday, 7th September 2024. This vibrant celebration of LGBTQ+ pride and community spirit promises a day filled with music, entertainment, and festivities for everyone to enjoy.

The day will kick off at 11 AM with a colourful parade through Basildon Town Centre, showcasing the diversity and unity of the community. The parade will lead to the Basildon Sporting Village, where the festival will officially begin at 11 AM.

Headline Acts & Main Stage Highlights:

This year’s festival will feature headline performances by Michael Marouli, star of RuPaul’s Drag Race UK, and the talented singer Louis III. The Basildon Pride Main Stage will be a hub of entertainment, featuring a fantastic lineup of tribute acts and fabulous drag queens who will keep the energy high throughout the day.

Stages, Food, and Fun for All:

In addition to the main stage, the Gateway 97.8 Stage will offer a diverse selection of live acts, providing something for every musical taste. Visitors can explore the Food Court, which will offer a delicious mix of culinary delights, or browse the Marketplace for local goods and community group stalls. For those looking for unique experiences, the Silent Disco offers a chance to dance the day away in style, while the Discovery Hub provides an educational opportunity to learn about LGBTQ+ history and organisations. The Chill Out Zone will offer a tranquil space to relax, and the Funfair promises entertainment for all ages.

Official After Party at The Loft:

As the festival winds down, the celebrations continue at The Loft with the Official After Party. The event will feature a live performance by Louis III and music by DJ Beats by Si, ensuring the party atmosphere carries on into the night.
