John Baron MP hails Basildon Hospital vaccination programme

The Health Secretary has written to Basildon and Thurrock MPs to inform them of the good news that Basildon Hospital is one of the highest-performing vaccination sites in the country.

The letter followed Matt Hancock’s visit to Basildon Hospital last week, where he met staff and vaccination volunteers.

John Baron MP, who received a letter, said;

“This is excellent news for Basildon Hospital and for our local community, and I congratulate all involved in the vaccination effort. We are striking back at the virus with every single jab, and it is splendid to see our local vaccination programme progress so strongly.” 

“However, there remains much more work to do, and once again I encourage everyone to accept the jab when their turn comes.”
