The British Red Cross – and other charitable organisations – are writing to Priti Patel to urge her to rethink their decision around a small increase to refugees financial support (who are banned from working) during Coronavirus.

The increase takes the daily amount to £5 per person. We know also that outgoings have increased for refugees (e.g. internet for home schooling) which isn’t accounted for.

They are also launching the ability for Brits to buy data packages for asylum seeking families here in the UK – as many are now having to purchase internet to allow their children to continue an education.
