Everyone knows that taking a break is a good thing and considering some of the challenges of the past year, maintaining regular breaks in our daily routines should be of the utmost importance in helping both our physical and mental health.

However, since working from home, 39% of us say we are working more hours in the day but, on average, are only taking two breaks each lasting just 12 minutes, according to new research by digital magazine and newspaper app Readly.

In fact, 28% say the number of breaks they take during the work day has decreased since they started working from home and 46% say they feel guilty when taking a break.

Aston spoke to Donna Air, actress & TV presenter to talk about her tips for creating space to relax and to encourage the nation to remember that breaks are vital for our emotional, mental, and physical wellbeing.
