The number of people in the UK suffering from anxiety has risen sharply over the last year and over a third (37.4%) of adults in Great Britain said that the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected their well- being.
Between the 20th and 30th of March 2020 almost half (49.6%) of Brits reported high anxiety, and average anxiety scores were 5.2 out of 10, a marked increase from 3.0 in the last quarter of 2019.
Alongside this, sales of CBD oil soared last year and as many as 8 million Britons are now buying CBD products, with has also shown a 150% increase in internet traffic for CBD products between the announcement of the first lockdown and the nation-wide peak in cases.
