MP encourages everyone to download NHS Covid-19 App

The NHS Covid-19 app was launched yesterday. This will help control the spread of the coronavirus by alerting people if they have come into contact with someone who later tests positive for the virus.

It also provides risk alerts based on the user’s postcode, allows users to scan QR codes to check in at venues and book coronavirus tests if they have symptoms.

John Baron MP for Basildon and Billericay said,

“The new NHS Covid-19 app is an important tool in our efforts to reduce the spread of the virus, and I would encourage everyone to download this app as soon as possible to help protect themselves, their loved ones and friends.”
