Barleylands Essex Country Show, 8th and 9th September

The 26^th annual Essex Country Show event is set to take place this weekend at Barleylands Farm, Billericay. The event which is the largest of its kind celebrates agricultural and farming history, as well as rural crafts.

35,000 people are expected to attend the family event which will have 200 crafts and trades stalls. There will be a variety of attractions from a funfair for the children to the vintage steam engine exhibition. Farm animals, monster trucks, boats and planes are also lined up to appear at the show. Helicopter rides which will allow you to view the show from the air will also be an appealing option for those attending.

Tottenham Hotspur F.C development team and the Lurcher racing demonstration team are also confirmed to make guest appearances at the countryside arena. The event will continue the tradition of donating £6,000 to six different charities.

The event is open 10:00am to 5:00pm this weekend on Saturday and Sunday.Ticket prices are as follows:
