Basildon man charged with GBH and criminal damage

A man will appear at court today, Tuesday 26 May, following reports of a disturbance in Basildon on Friday night.

Officers were called to Quendon Road just before 8.20pm on 22 May.

Neil Crawford, 31, of Quendon Road, has been charged with two counts of causing grievous bodily harm with intent, one count of assault by beating, one count of assaulting an emergency worker, possession of a bladed article and 17 counts of criminal damage. 

He will appear at Chelmsford Magistrates’ Court today.
