Men seriously injured after crash

Three men were seriously injured,  after a crash on the A127, last  night.

The accident occurred at about 9.30 Monday evening. A blue Ford  driven by a 74-year-old man and  a silver Chrysler which was carrying four men between the ages of 18 and 21 collided on the Southend-bound carriageway.

Both sides of the dual carriageway were closed until around 4:15am this morning.

Three men involved received serious injuries and had to receive treatment by paramedics at the scene, they were then taken to Basildon, Queens and the Royal London Hospitals.
