Basildon Council is letting all residents know that waste and recycling collections scheduled for the next bank holiday on Monday 31 August will take place without any changes.

The Chair of Basildon Council’s Neighbourhoods and Public Spaces Committee, Councillor David Harrison said:

“While there are no changes this Bank Holiday, residents who want to check their collection day, or see what goes in which collection stream, can download the “Our Streets Basildon” waste and recycling app for free.

“Please make sure you leave your recycling out for collection on the correct day only by 7:30am.”

The Our Streets Basildon app is available to download: www.basildon.gov.uk/ourstreets

If you’re unsure what day your collection day is in your neighbourhood you can check on our new “Our Streets Basildon” waste and recycling app, or go online and check at: www.basildon.gov.uk
