Santa’s grotto opening at Basildon Market

The main opening day for this Christmas season is Saturday 18^th November.

Basildon Market Grotto Opens.

On visiting the grotto every child gets a free pocket money toy, a free sweet (chocolate bar) Plus most importantly a FREE PHOTO WITH SANTA. Extra photos are chargeable.

The grotto is free to all, however! with no obligation, we do ask for a donation to St Lukes Hospice.

The Market site is decorated with a 4.5m Christmas tree plus 5 smaller tress on top of the kiosks, plus rope lighting around the kiosks and lamp posts.

Town Square,

On the same day the food court opens in the town with a variety of food offers, including their famous German sausage stand.

There will also be a free to use Christmas Crazy golf in the town square, again donations for St Lukes is voluntary but appreciated.

This year St Lukes choir will be opening the Golf and food court between 9.30 and 10am.
