St. Luke’s Hospice in Basildon, Essex, is inviting the community to come together through its new ‘Caring Together’campaign – celebrating the power of community care and asking one simple but important question: How will you show you care?
As a charity rooted in the local community, St. Luke’s Hospice provides compassionate palliative and end of life care for patients and their families. Every day, the team supports patients and loved ones both within the Hospice and out in the community. Working closely with healthcare partners, they coordinate care and ease the burden on families when they need it most.
With rising costs and increased demand for its services, community support has never been more important to help protect this vital care for future generations.
The Caring Together campaign is a powerful call to action, asking individuals, businesses, schools, colleges, faith groups, companies and community groups to show they care by supporting St. Luke’s Hospice in whatever way they can; whether through donating, volunteering, , partnering with the Hospice or helping raise awareness. There are opportunities for companies to sponsor and champion the Caring Together campaign.
Caring Together also celebrates the extraordinary people who already make hospice care possible. Throughout the campaign, St. Luke’s Hospice will share stories from staff, volunteers, fundraisers, donors, partners and supporters whose compassion helps provide comfort, dignity and expert care when it matters most.
There are many ways to get involved, including;
- Donating to help fund vital care and services
- Volunteering time to support patients, families or hospice services
- Fundraising to bring people together and raise essential funds

The campaign offers businesses an opportunity to raise awareness within their communities, engage employees and demonstrate their commitment to supporting an important local cause.
Whether big or small, every action helps ensure St. Luke’s Hospice can continue to support people in the community when and where they need it most.
