Billericay man sets new Tuk Tuk record

Matt Everard, 49, from Billericay broke a new speed record in the Tuk Tuk dubbed the Bankok Bomber. Matt spent about £20,000 on renovations of the Bankok Bomber. He replaced the 300cc engine with a much more powerful 1300cc unit and set a record top speed of 74 MPH.

Matt installed new Fuel Injectors into the engine to divert more fuel into the engine and increase the overall power. Russell, his brother, was riding in the back when the Tuk Tuk was tested at the Elvington Airfield in York.
