Police witness appeal following Billericay assault

Essex Police are investigating a sexual assault of a woman and are looking to speak to anyone who saw what happened.

The 20-year-old woman was walking down Stock Road in Billericay towards the train station on Friday 5 June at about 3.10am.

Two men grabbed her from behind and sexually assaulted her. She kicked them and ran to safety at the nearby BP petrol station.

Essex Police have been reviewing CCTV and making enquiries, and would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time and saw what happened.

The description given is that one man wore a white top and the other a black top.

Anyone with information is asked to call PC Alex Franklin in Basildon CID on 101 quoting incident 42/80002/20.
