CMA Council meet in Basildon

On Saturday 7th September the Community Media Association met in Essex at one of there Council meetings which discuss community radio and television.
The company supports community media and has a direct input into consultations that the Dcms or Ofcom publish.
The CMA also acts as a platform to support the sector and a wide range of benefits from streaming to help with reports are included in the membership.

The council are made up of members from around the UK and CMA Council member Danny Lawrence welcomed them to Basildon as they drove and flew in
from all parts of the country. Lincoln. Swindon. Bristol, Norwich, West Midlands. Preston. London, Newcastle, Scotland,Northanpton, Sheffield
Bristol and leeds as well as Essex.

During the visit which for some started the night before at Bas Vegas the team also visited the Gateway studios and enjoyed Breakfast in Nosh and
Hiltons fishbar.
