Essex Police say force is not institutionally racist

In recent weeks, there has been a lot of discussion about racism, particularly following the death of George Floyd – an unarmed black American.

There have been protests and demonstrations taking place in Essex and across the world with the message: Black Lives Matter. These protests have led to some accusing the police in the UK of being institutionally racist.
