Some c2c stations set for an overhaul

The c2c railway service is set to give a couple of its stations an overhaul. The stations at Chafford Hundred and Upminster will undergo a refurbishment to modernise the stations.

The stations’ upgrades will take about four months which includes: a refurbishment of the main booking hall, redecoration of station as well as a new ceiling at Upminster. Similar plans are expected at Chafford Hundred station which also includes a modernisation of its main lobby area and waiting areas at Chafford Hundred Station to make more inviting for customers.

More plans are expected for Upminster Station’s lower ticket hall and Grays station which is part of a £17million investment to transform stations on the c2c line.
