Two arrests made following imitation firearm threatening in Grays

Two men have been arrested in connection with an incident in which a man was threatened with an imitation firearm in Grays last month.

The 24-year-old from Kempston in Bedfordshire and 23-year-old from Bedford were arrested yesterday, Sunday 31 May, on suspicion of robbery and remain in custody for questioning.

A man and a woman had driven to Lodge Lane at about 10.30pm on Sunday 17 May for a pre-arranged meeting. When they arrived, a man got into their car, a silver Lexus, and threatened the man inside before stealing a quantity of cash.
