Congratulations to Basildon groups picking up awards at the High Sheriff awards in Chelmsford.

Moira Brock – La Danse Fantastique – her work with young peopple with special needs
Marc Grayston – Maru Karate Kai – his work with young people involving Karate he was also awarded a grant of £750
Yvonne Williams and Ros Connors – Founders of Gateway 97.8 – community radio at its best!
Gateway 97.8 – Danny lawrence picked up a grant of £1000 for the project
