The King John School in Thunderseley, Essex was rated an outstanding school back in 2013 following an Ofsted report. However a few weeks ago, the school was inspected again by Ofsted and they reduced the rating from Oustanding to Inadequate.
The Ofsted report displayed that the personal development, behaviour and welfare of students in the school needs improving. This goes alongside ‘inadequate’ leadership and management.
Overall effectiveness | Inadequate |
Effectiveness of leadership and management | Inadequate |
Quality of teaching, learning and assessment | Good |
Personal development, behaviour and welfare | Requires improvement |
Outcomes for pupils | Good |
16 to 19 study programmes | Good |
