Traces of bacteria have been found at Bell Wharf Beach in Leigh after the beach has been re-classified poor flowing the presence of E.coli and inessential Enterococci, most commonly found in faeces.

What a shame after the Southend Council have decided that they were going to put bathing signs up on Bell Wharf Beach and also stated that the water quality has improved over the years.
