In Cricket Wickford have been relegated from Hamro Foundation First XI Division One and next season they will be playing in Hamro Foundation First XI Division Two, whilst Billericay narrowly missed out on promotion to the Hamro Foundation First XI Premier Division.
In Football, Billericay Town beat Leverstock Green 4 – 1 to progess to the next round of the Emirates FA Cup, whilst there were also wins for Canvey Island who beat Enfield Town 5 – 1 and for Grays Athletic who beat Edgware & Kingsbury 4 – 1. However Bowers & Pitsea who last season reached the first round proper for the first time in their history crashed out after losing 1 – 0 to Wingate & Finchley and Hashtag United also exit the competition after losing 3 – 2 to Romford.
