A motorcyclist has died following a collision on the A127 in Basildon.
At 6.35am this morning, Tuesday, December 4, a red Suzuki motorcycle was involved in a collision with a white articulated goods vehicle near the Mayflower retail park.
The rider of the motorcycle was declared dead at the scene.
He was aged 43 and from the Southend area. The road was closed and reopened just after 1pm
Police are appealing for any witnesses to the collision or anyone who saw the vehicles prior to the crash to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Unit on 101 or email [email protected]
