Johnny spoke to Claire – who rescued Rolo from a puppy farm. He’s an RSPCA rescue dog that volunteers every single week in Southend Hospital. He’s also had some fame, on Channel 5’s Dog Rescuers. This led to him appearing on The Wright Stuff too.

And a warning from Claire about the hot weather:
Only walk first thing and in the evening. DO NOT leave dogs in cars for any length of time – even if in shade, with windows open – IT IS TOO HOT! And the temperatures soar very quickly in a car. Conservatories too. Test pavements with the back of your hand for 5 seconds – if uncomfortable for you, then it’s too hot for a dog to walk on.
