Olympic Coverage: Sunday Evening

Paula Radcliffe is out of the Olympic games through injury, and Lizzie Armistead wins Silver medal in the Women’s Road Race, the first medal for Team GB. Andy Murray wins in straight sets against Stanislas Wawrinka in their Olympic match at Wimbledon.

US Dana Vollmer wins Gold in 100m Butterfly, and Great Britain’s Elly Gandy 8th has new world record with 55.98 seconds. 1st place in Men’s 200m Freestyle Semi-final went to Germany’s Paul Biedermann, 2nd place went to Ryan Lochte, and 3rd place went to Great Britain’s Robbie Renwick.

Novak Djokovic beats Fabio Fognini of Italy at Olympic Tennis at Wimbledon. Ruta Meilutyte aged 15 years old from Lithuania, wins a European record with 2nd women’s 100m Breaststroke Semi-final, and Cameron Van Der Burgh sets new world record in Men’s 100m Breaststroke Final.

Ryan Giggs scored for Great Britain at Wembley tonight, with the final score being Great Britain 3 – United Arab Emirates 1. And in the 400m Freestyle, France’s Camille Muffat wins Gold, USA’s Allison Schmitt wins Silver, and Great Britain’s Rebecca Adlington wins Bronze.
