Neil Gits A Bit Stiff

Don’t tell anybody else, but I think this “Old Git” must be getting older ! After a couple of weeks with a dodgy ear irritating me, this Monday I woke up with a bit of a backache that slowed me down considerably all day and didn’t go away till Wednesday. What’s in store next I wonder – they say these things often come in threes ! As long as it is not something that affects my ability to bring you two hours of super soul jazz-funk & disco music on a Monday evening I can deal with it …

I have some terrific feedback on the show lately and “The Old Gits Soul Show” page on Facebook has been buzzing with banter whilst I play the tunes. Knowing that a good number of people are not only listening to it but enjoying it too judging by all the “emojis” and “gifs” being pasted, not least the kind comments, however brief, makes it all worthwhile. I have filled most of the slots already with ideas and suggestions picked up during the week, so roll on next Monday when I am back live in the studio at Gateway … and now get ready to enjoy the repeat play at 5pm this Saturday evening !
