One and a half world exclusive first airplays on this week’s edition of the British Blues Awards nominated Digital Blues on Gateway 97.8.

Next month sees the release of two excellent new CDs from Jerimiah Marques and Chad Strentz and I bring you the first ever airing of a track from Essex blues legend Jerimiah plus  possibly only the second ever airing of a track from Chad.

There are tracks from three of this month’s IBBA Albums of the Month from Rob Heron & the Tea Pad Orchestra, Royal Southern Brotherhood and the Bonnie Mac Band plus more new releases from David Michael Miller, Philip Sayce, Selwyn Birchwood, Dave Fields, The Delta Generators, Steve Hill, Sofie Reed, Malcolm Holcomb, Eddie Martin, Rick Estrin & the Nightcats, The Nighthawks, The Snyders, Matt Biondi Crew and Pete Marriott.

In the gig guide you will hear tracks from Aynsley Lister, The Papa George Band and Ainslies’ Vibes with the whole show topped and tailed with tracks from Polly O’Keary & the Rhythm Method and Eddie Boyd.

The Tour de France may have left the UK but I have a great Tour de Blues for your delectation!
