New research released today shows how Britain is a nation of quitters when it comes to achieving dreams and ambitions as over a third of people (35 per cent) admit they have done nothing to pursue their life’s dream.

The research commissioned by Raffle House reveals a mere 8 per cent of Brits have accomplished their life’s dream whilst 10 per cent have already given up on their dream and accepted that they will never achieve it. Meanwhile, 25 per cent of Brits are resting on their laurels as they say they have “planned” how to achieve their life’s goal but have not taken steps to pursuing it.

Grand ambitions to be famous, own a sports car and be a millionaire also seem to be becoming thing of the past amongst the British population as the research shows Brits’ top dream in life is to just “be happy.” In fact, only 2 per cent of people say that their dream is to be a famous sports star, musician or actor.

Aston spoke to Brian Moore, former England rugby union international and sports pundit to discuss the research in further detail and also spoke about the future of the England rugby union team going forward.
