UK tech leads the way on global stage

With all the constant doom and gloom in the media, you’d be forgiven for thinking the economic outlook for Britain is looking increasingly bleak. However in contrast to this there are some sectors thriving and providing hope for the nation’s economic future.

Today, the annual Tech Nation Report in association with the World Economic Forum is released. This year’s comprehensive look into the evolution of the UK tech finds that the sector performed particularly well in investment last year securing £6 billion in venture capital investment, more than any other European country.

Aston spoke to George Windsor, Head of Insights at Tech Nation where they were discussing the findings of the report and offering comment on the outlook of the UK’s tech sector in light of Britain’s potential exit from the European Union.
