Waverley- Historic Thames Forts at Southend Pier Saturday 10^th October

The historic Thames Forts were built in the Estuary during the second world war to protect London and the coastal areas from air attack. On the trip you will be able to see two excellent examples remaining, Red Sands and Shivering Sands.
