Sunday 26th February
Jack Sullivan is in the studio with Sunday Roast, serving a delicious selection of songs for your Sunday afternoon between 12:00pm and 3:00pm on your award winning station.
I’ll be bringing you the latest traffic and travel updates, your sports and showbiz round-up, chat and features, and great music. Includes weather and headlines from the Sky News Centre at the top of the hour.
During the show I will be taking a recap of what’s been happening around the world this week, looking at the headlines of the newspapers, as well as this day in history, birthdays and much more.
Haven’t decided what to do this Sunday afternoon?
Kelly’s Diary has all the What’s On in and around the area. I’ll be telling you what’s on at Empire and Vue Cinema, Towngate and Thameside Theatre and The Cliffs Pavillion, as well as the programmes recommended to watch on TV if you’re staying in, and songs that you should listen out for.
Fancy working in Radio?
There’s an opportunity in April 2012 if you are 15 years old or over which I will be mentioning. I will also have all the details about this years Battle Of The Bands 2012.
Digital TV Switchover:
Everyone in Essex needs to be ready for the switchover in April or you will lose TV channels. If you have 5 channels or fewer on any TV in your home, you will need to covert it to digital. Can the Switchover Help Scheme switch your TV to digital? Gateway 97.8 has all the information to help you go digital.
If you want to get in touch with Sunday Roast, maybe you want to do a shoutout or send a song request perhaps, then please feel free to call or text on 01268 833978 or send an email to [email protected] and I will do my best to read them out.
You’ll find everything you need to know within those 3 hours.
