Collision on the A13

Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision on the A13.

At about 7.55pm a collision occurred on the A13 eastbound carriageway prior to the Five Bells roundabout in Basildon which involved a number of vehicles including a grey Ford Fiesta which ended up on its roof.

There were four male occupants of the Fiesta who were taken to Basildon General Hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The A13 junction with The Manorway was closed until 10.30pm.
