Police are appealing for witnesses following a collision which left a six-year-old boy with injuries.
The collision happened in Prince Avenue, near to Tesco and the junction with Nestuda Way, at about 8.10am today on Wednesday 4th December.
It involved a pedestrian, a boy from Westcliff who was taken to hospital where he was treated for a head injury and later discharged; and a cyclist who police are seeking to trace as he left the scene.
Investigating officer, Pc Mark Hewitt, said: “I really need this cyclist to contact me as soon as possible. I would also like to speak to anyone who may have seen the collision or seen the cyclist leaving the scene.”
