Andy Carroll signs for West Ham

West Ham have paid £15m for striker Andy Carroll from Liverpool.

 

Whilst on loan from Liverpool, Carroll scored 7 goals in 24 games.  He has signed a six year contract with the club.  Carroll said “its fantastic for me to be here, I really enjoyed last season”.

 

Carroll hopes he will be included in upcoming England games if he can improve his fitness record next season, saying “I just want to keep fit now, keeping scoring goals and performing week in week out for West Ham”.
