It’s the final countdown before the Olympic Games start. We’re ready. Are you?

Join us for Live Olympic Coverage everyday between Wednesday 25th July and Sunday 12th August, where we will be bringing the latest news plus live scores, fixtures, results, tables, online blogs and analysis for you, our listeners.

Our reporters will be bringing you live updates, during the week between 10am and 7pm, on Daytime, Good Afternoon and Drivetime, as well as weekends between 9am and 3pm, on Weekend Breakfast, Coffee and Tea, and Sunday Roast.

From 8:45am through 6:45pm each day, we will be providing hourly updates for you, focusing on the key headlines at that time. We will also be providing updates for you during Drivetime at 4:30pm, 5:30pm and 6:30pm, like the hourly updates we currently do now. Ros Connors will also be reporting on Olympics going-ons each morning on The Brighter Breakfast during the duration of the Games, with Ali Stafford doing additional reports on Drivetime with Jack Sullivan and Tyler.

Lee Stott, Laurence Mora and Simon Owen are also accredited for the Games, where they will be providing audio with all of the Team GB medalists, plus other big stars. Lee, Laurence and Simon will be primarily based at the Main Press Centre (MPC) at the Olympic Park for the Games. At the MPC, they will have access to news conferences with medalists and other big names, both Team GB and others.

Marc Grayston, Basildon’s Olympic Torch Bearer, will also be joining Tyler, Owen Hunt and Ayebea Crentsil on Coffee and Tea, where he will be bringing the Torch he carried, into the studio, and be dressed in the London 2012 uninform.

There will also be a special live show, between 9pm and 1am, on Friday 27th July, with Tyler, Jack Sullivan, Laura Anderson, and Gonzo, where they will be presenting live coverage of the London 2012 opening ceremony.

The Full Schedule & Results can be found on the London 2012 Website. As Richard Yates says on our promo, “Let the Games begin!”.
