Regional Football Update

Another week, another washout for the regions football clubs. Not only were all games in the Ryman League involving clubs in this area postponed due to the wet weather, but Concord Rangers trip to Basingstoke in the Skrill South was called off due to a waterlogged pitch. It wasn’t much better in the Essex Senior League, where none of the right scheduled games going ahead.

The rain also affected the local rugby, as games at Thurrock and South Woodham Ferrers were both cancelled, while Canvey Island’s game at home to Beccles was awarded to the opposition. Lets hope the weather improves in time for next weekends action.
