A nice change from my usual weekend gig on Coffee & Tea – today I had the pleasure of speaking on the phone with reps from two fantastic causes: @BasildonPride and @TimeToChange.

Just after 1pm I had the pleasure of chatting with Jake from Basildon Pride – ahead of their launch event in Basildon Town Centre, this Saturday. Jake was telling me all about their mission to make this year’s Basildon Pride the biggest yet; and also a little bit about why Pride is still so important in a modern, supposedly more accepting society:
