Neil Gits A Belter Out !

I do spend a lot of time putting my show together – probably FAR too much time ! – and as a result I am rarely disappointed how it turns out, with just some sloppy presentation occasionally taking the shine off some of the superb tunes played in between ! But I felt this week’s selection was a particularly good one with every track holding a special memory or having a story to be told, with some of the very best “nu soul” cuts slotted seamlessly alongside the vintage 70s & 80s ones. And “DJ Neil” held it together quite nicely I thought too 😉  so with the weather being suitably summery today, ideal for soul music in the sunshine, why not enjoy a glass of something nice with some lovely food on the go, open the windows wide or take the speakers outside and share these two hours of soul, jazz-funk & disco with the good and great of Basildon and beyond. We don’t get too many days like this in a year !
