Neil Gits Back From South Wales

Once my show was finished and the quiz night the next day taken care of, I was off on my annual solo road trip – and boy didn’t I get good weather ?! I put 840 miles on the clock exploring various different parts of Wales being based just off the M4 near Swansea and had a great time, in my own little “Old Git” way…

Ideas for new quiz questions dropped into my head and tracks from CDs leapt out of the speakers demanding to be played on future radio shows, one or two maybe even making their way onto tonight’s new LIVE programme as I strive to get back in the old routine after a chilled out few days. But I return to Studio One fully refreshed and , not having taken a hat or any sunblock in my suitcase (well, it rained constantly on my trip to Newquay this time last year !!) slightly frazzled round the edges – tune in from 7pm and no doubt I might mention my adventures once or twice as well as playing some jolly good tunes !
