What a headache the last seven days have been ! My poor old trusty computer that had faithfully served me all day, every day for the best part of the last ten years, finally said “it’s time to go – farewell old friend” and a shiny modern new super duper machine arrived to take its place. But nobody told me that in those last 10 years Windows had changed the way you do EVERYTHING and what used to be a quick five minute job became a two hour process of trying to work out how to get the thing to do what I wanted it to ! I knew I was an “Old Git”, set in my ways, but good grief – call the nurse now !!
I have said this before but, boy, do I need to get in the studio this evening and enjoy two hours of relaxing and groovy soul, jazz-funk & disco tunes with you – and at this moment in time there’s still a chance I will make it on time too ! But time is against me, so I must get cracking and hope no other brick wall needs to be demolished with my forehead between now and 7pm ….
