In all honesty, I didn’t get too much response to the show this Monday, either via e-mail/text or on good old Facebook . I guess many potential listeners were tucked up very early in bed having just got back from Caister, with most of my footy mates watching Billericay Town in a rare Monday night game. However, it was quality not quantity that counted this time, provided by my “Zoulful Zummerzetter” Sarah Jane in the West Country who allowed me to post a great picture her niece had conjured up. Within it, you can see thte titles of 7 songs made famous by Luther Vandross, either solo or with Change … and I could only find 6 of them after much searching ! I’ve tried to attach it here, but if you can’t see it clearly, go to “The Old Gits Soul Show” on Facebook where you can see it in all its glory – why not have a go at naming the tunes while listening to my repeat at 5pm this Saturday ? Unless you’ll be on the FA Cup Road To Wembley with the Ricay Massive !!
