Something wasn’t quite right “down below” last weekend – for a couple of days my food wasn’t settling quite as comfortably as usual in my stomach ! Maybe I’d just pushed myself a bit harder than normal with my workload, which has increased nicely this year, and left myself vulnerable to a bug … or maybe it was those new sausages I tried for breakfast on Saturday & Sunday that needed cooking slightly longer !!! Either way, no big deal, but I wanted to be fully fit again for Monday and my traditional weekly evening routine, which starts with a bit of tasty fast food from a local main name outlet and ends up with me chilling on the sofa drinking Pepsi and stuffing my face with chocolate till I can’t take no more … 😉
In between, of course, there is the small matter of my two self-indulgent hours playing soul, jazz-funk and disco goodies on the radio which thankfully plenty of other people seems to enjoy hearing and I am glad to report all was well again by last Monday, with both food & drink and tunes going down well in equal measure !
