Man injured after falling from roof.

A man has been injured today after falling from a roof whilst working in Southend.

The man was said to have been working at The Borough Hotel Pub when he slipped from the roof. The Air Ambulance were called to the scene at about  3:40 pm, leaving around 1 hour and a half later. An Ambulance and paramedic also attended the scene, and the police sectioned off the area to stop traffic from passing by.

The man has not been named, and has been taken to Queens Hospital because of chest injuries from the incident. His injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
