On Saturday 23rd November, Gateway 97.8 Radio Club member, Charlie, decided to finish Radio Club early and help his college to run a Christmas Stall at Pitsea Mount Community Centre. The stall was organised by Castledon College, which featured lots of Christmas products which included: Baubles, Lazer Cut Xmas Trees and Rice Snowmen.
Castledon College raised just over £40. Castle Crafts is a Business that is part of the College’s Young Enterprise Course and the Course covers how students run a business and how to negotiate sales.
Gateway 97.8 Radio Club Member and college student, Charlie Tolhurst said:
“Thank you to everyone who attended the Stall. It was a great way to showcase the College’s creativity and negotiating with customers. All of these skills will help you run a business.”
